When planning a work Christmas party there’s always so many options for what to do, let alone all the finer details such as what is the ideal length of time for the event, how many people will come, what’s something different that everyone will like? Well, we have a Christmas party that your colleagues won’t forget, and for the right reasons.
If you’re looking to try something different this year, why not try a private paint and sip event for your works Christmas party. Paint and sips are a great way to mingle with your colleagues and celebrate the end of year festivities, with a step-by-step guided painting with sessions generally lasting for 3 to 3.5 hours in length. Never painted before? Don’t stress, our talented Artists are there to help you with every step and salvage any paintings that may go astray.

1. Set a date. Send a memo around the office to check everyone’s schedules for when best suits to book your private paint and sip Christmas event. Make sure you get in early as Christmas bookings fill up fast.
2. Pick a Theme. Here a few of our favourites:
Classic Christmas:
find some red and green decorations and be sure to let your colleagues know the theme for the dress code for some memorable snaps. We have several Christmas paintings to go with this theme, however if you have a particular painting in mind be sure to let us know!
Santa Claus Soiree:
Deck your party out with anything and everything Santa-inspired for this theme. You can get creative with this Saint Nicholas theme by incorporating Santa throughout your decorations and those Christmas treats. We’ve got the perfect Saint Nick painting for this theme that our in-house artists can modify to suit your industry or organisation.
Ugly Sweater Christmas Party:
Alright, this one is our favourite! There is nothing better than an amazingly horrible Christmas sweater. Make sure you have a prize ready for the best worst dressed person on the day. This themed event gives you the ultimate free range in the art piece you select for your event.
Winter Wonderland:
Turn our paint and sip into your Winter Wonderland full of white décor and all white dress code. This is an elegant and grand theme containing plenty of white and silver decorations throughout your entire party set-up. Our frosty the snow man painting is our recommended piece for this event.
3. Set a budget for food and decorations. If you need catering options, be sure to let us know and we can organise grazing boards for your event with our partners. We are BYO, so if your company allows alcohol to be consumed at Christmas parties, then make sure you bring a bottle of your favourite festive beverage along with you.
4. Prepare in advance. Start preparing for your party as soon as you set a date, especially if you’re ordering decorations, a custom painting for your paint and sip, or materials from online.

Surrounded by plenty of amazing local hidden gems such as Revel brewing, Oxford Taphouse, Laquinta Mexican, and Melrose rooftop bar, our store is easy and very convenient to get to.
