A Beginners Introduction to Oil: Workshop Series

A beginners introduction to Oil workshop series, with local professional Oil painter Caroline Penny. Together we will take a look into the world of Oil Painting at Rose Soiree Bulimba.

Have you ever wondered what it is like to paint in Oil?

This workshop series will consist of 4 x 2-hour classes and will give you the chance to have a try without spending lots of money on costly painting materials.

Each series is limited to a total of 8 students, to ensure you are given the one on one support in learning your new found love for oil painting, as well as give each student the opportunity to ask questions.

What will I learn over the 4 weeks?

• Introduction to basic Oil palette
• Mixing colours around the colour wheel, warm to cold colours
• Brush education - Which starter brushes to use and the marks they make, including the correct way to clean and care for brushes to prolong their life span
• Basic still life painting to look at colour across form
• Printed hand out at the end of the workshop to help you purchase your own beginners Oil kit should you want to move forward at home

How much is it to sign up to the workshop series?

To participate in the 4 week workshop series it is $399. Payment options are upfront or we also offer Afterpay
